Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Execudea (Private) Limited ("we", "us"), trading as SEODevil, which operates SEODevil at seodevil.com. By creating an account or using SEODevil you agree to them. If you use SEODevil for a company, you confirm you're allowed to accept these terms for it.

1. The service

SEODevil is a web-based technical SEO tool. It audits the websites you add, lists issues by priority, writes fix suggestions with AI, can apply some fixes to WordPress sites or open pull requests on GitHub when you ask it to, monitors pages for SEO changes, and shows Search Console and AI search data. What each plan includes is listed on the pricing page.

2. Your account

You need to be at least 16 to use SEODevil. Keep your login details safe; you're responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at support@seodevil.com if you think someone else has access to it.

3. Plans, payment and renewal

SEODevil has a Free plan and paid monthly plans. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

  • Prices are in US dollars. Sales tax or VAT is added at checkout where it applies.
  • Paid plans renew automatically every month on the same date until you cancel. Your payment method is charged at each renewal.
  • You can cancel at any time from Profile → Billing → Manage billing. You keep your plan until the end of the period you've paid for, then your account moves to the Free plan. Your data stays.
  • Switching between Pro and Agency is prorated and takes effect right away.
  • If a payment fails, Paddle will retry it. If it still can't be collected, your account moves to the Free plan.
  • We may change prices. We'll tell you by email at least 30 days before a new price applies to your subscription, and you can cancel before then.

4. Refunds

You can get a full refund of any payment within 14 days of being charged. Details are in our Refund Policy.

5. Plan limits and fair use

Each plan has limits, such as audits per month, pages per audit, monitored URLs and AI search prompts. We enforce them automatically. "Unlimited" features are for normal use by you or your team; we may limit automated or abusive use that affects the service for others, and will contact you first where we can.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • audit, monitor or change websites you don't own or don't have permission to work on;
  • use SEODevil to overload, attack or probe other people's systems;
  • try to get around plan limits, share an account to avoid paying, or resell access without our agreement;
  • reverse engineer the service, or access it other than through the interfaces we provide;
  • use it for anything illegal or to infringe anyone's rights.

7. Connected sites and changes we make for you

When you connect WordPress, GitHub, Google Search Console or Slack, you authorize us to use that access for the features you turn on. We only write to your site or repository when you approve a specific change. You are responsible for reviewing changes before you apply them and for keeping backups. Changes applied to WordPress can be reverted from SEODevil; pull requests are only merged by you.

8. AI-generated content

Fix suggestions, rewritten titles and descriptions, alt text and other AI output can be wrong or incomplete. Review it before you use it. You own the AI output we generate for you and can use it freely.

9. Your data

You keep all rights to your content and data. You give us permission to process it only to run SEODevil for you. How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Results

SEODevil helps you find and fix SEO issues, but search engines decide rankings. We don't guarantee any ranking, traffic or revenue outcome. Scores and estimates are guidance, not promises.

11. Availability and changes

We work to keep SEODevil available, but it may sometimes be interrupted for maintenance or reasons outside our control. We may improve or change features over time. If we remove a significant paid feature, we'll tell you in advance and you can cancel.

12. Suspension and termination

You can stop using SEODevil and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.

13. Disclaimer and liability

SEODevil is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, revenue or data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

14. Changes to these terms

If we make material changes, we'll update the date above and tell signed-in users by email or in the app before they take effect. If you keep using SEODevil after that, the new terms apply.
